The application deadline for fall deer, bighorn sheep, turkey, javelina and buffalo is June 11. There is still a handful of leftover spring javelina permits available. General season lion tags are available. Call the lion hotline (877-438-0447) to see which units have met quota.
Colorado 303-297-1192 http://wildlife.state.co.us/ 2013 big game regulation brochures and applications for drawings are available. The 2013 big game, sheep and goat limited draw application deadline is April 2. OTC* big game licenses are available.
Mountain lion licenses are on sale. Call 888-940-5466 to see which lion units have met quota.
Idaho 208-334-3700 http://fishandgame.idaho.gov/. Nonresident 2013 licenses and general season tags are available, including mountain lion and black bear. The application period for controlled hunts for moose, mountain goat and bighorn sheep is April 1-30. The application period for deer, elk, pronghorn and fall bear controlled hunts is May 1 - June 5. Note: If you apply for goat/sheep you cannot apply for deer/elk. Call 800-323-4334 to see which lion units have met quota before purchasing a tag.
Maine 207-287-8000 www.maine.gov/ifw Applications for the moose lottery are available. Online applications will be accepted until May 13. Paper applications must be postmarked or hand-delivered by April 1. The drawing will be June 15 with the results posted online by 8 pm.
Montana 406-444-2950 http://fwp.mt.gov/. Applications for 2013 deer and elk combination licenses are due March 15. Results will be announced April 16 or shortly thereafter. Special drawing applications (moose, sheep, goat, bison and pronghorn) and big game regulations will be available at the end of March and are due May 1. Black bear and mountain lion licenses may not be used until five days after the license is issued AND may be purchased only online or at FWP offices.
Nevada 775-688-1500 http://www.ndow.org/ The deadline for nonresident outfitter-sponsored licenses is March 8. The application period for mule deer, elk, pronghorn, bighorn sheep and mountain goat is March 18 to April 15. Mountain lion permits subject to a quota are available OTC*. Call 800-800-1667 or visit http://www.ndow.org/hunt/seasons/fur/mtlion.shtm to determine which units are closed.
New Hampshire 603-271-2461 http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/ Applications for the 2012 moose lottery are available and due May 31. The drawing will be June 21 with successful applicants notified by mail within 10 days.
New Mexico 505-476-8000 http://www.wildlife.state.nm.us/ Regulations for the 2013 big game hunting season are available. Deer, elk, pronghorn, ibex, javelina, Barbary and bighorn sheep, and oryx applications are due March 20. Mountain lion and bear permits are available OTC*.
Oregon 503-947-6100 http://www.dfw.state.or.us/ Hunting regulations for 2013 are available. Controlled hunt deadlines for pronghorn, bighorn sheep, deer, elk and Rocky Mountain goat are May 15 with results available June 20.

Washington 360-902-2464 https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/ Application period for deer, elk, mountain goat, moose and bighorn sheep is April 18 - May 18. Big game regulations should be available mid-April. General season tags are available OTC* for deer, elk, bear and cougar.
